Q1: Is this tour safe for solo female travelers?

A: Absolutely! We have many solo female travelers on every tour. Separate room arrangements, female-friendly group environment, and
our guides are trained in ensuring everyone’s safety and comfort. Hunza is one of the safest tourist destinations in Pakistan.

Q2: What if I’m traveling alone? Will I be charged for full room?

A: No! Solo travelers are paired with same-gender travelers in quad/triple sharing rooms. You pay the per-person rate (PKR 25,000-28,000) not a full room charge. We’ll match you with other travelers.

Q3: Are vegetarian meals available?

A: Yes! We provide vegetarian options at all meals.
Hunza cuisine has excellent vegetarian dishes including local breads, vegetables, lentils, rice, and dairy products. Just inform us when booking.

Q4: How cold is it at Khunjerab Pass?

A: Khunjerab Pass (4,693m) is significantly colder than Hunza Valley. Even in summer, temperatures can be 0-10°C with wind chill making it feel
colder. In winter, it drops to -20°C. Always bring warm jacket, gloves, and cap regardless of season.

Q5: Is Khunjerab Pass open in winter?

A: Usually no. Khunjerab Pass is typically closed from
November to March/April due to heavy snowfall. We inform participants before booking. If
closed, we extend time at other Upper Hunza destinations like Passu and Gulmit.

Q6: Can I skip Naltar Valley to save jeep charges?

A: Yes, Naltar is optional. If you choose to skip it, you can stay in Hunza or visit other nearby locations. However, we highly recommend Naltar—it’s one of the most beautiful valleys with stunning lakes, and the jeep charge (PKR 500-800) is worth it.

Q7: What’s the mobile network coverage like?

A: Jazz and Telenor have the best coverage in Hunza and along Karakoram Highway. Limited or no coverage at Khunjerab Pass, Naltar
Valley, and some remote sections. Download offline maps and inform family accordingly.

Q8: Are there ATMs in Hunza?

A: Yes, there are ATMs in Karimabad and Aliabad (Hunza), but they can run out of cash or have connectivity issues. We strongly recommend carrying sufficient
cash (PKR 8,000-10,000) from Islamabad/Lahore for personal expenses.

Q9: Can children join this tour?

A: Yes! Children above 5 years are welcome. The tour is
family-friendly with moderate activities. However, consider:

● Long drives (children should be comfortable sitting for hours)
● High altitude (Khunjerab at 4,693m)

Q10: What happens if I get altitude sickness?

A: Our guides are trained to recognize altitude sickness symptoms. We carry basic first-aid and oxygen (if needed). Usually, descending to
lower altitude and rest helps. Severe cases are taken to nearest medical facility in Gilgit or Hunza. This is why we recommend:

● Stay hydrated
● Avoid alcohol
● Don’t overexert yourself
● Carry Diamox medication (consult doctor)

Q11: Can couples share a room? Do we need marriage certificate?

A: Registered couples
can share rooms. We require:

● Marriage certificate (nikah nama) copy, OR
● Same surname on CNIC, OR
● Engaged couples with family consent letter This is our policy to respect local culture and
hotel requirements.

Q12: Are bathrooms attached in hotel rooms?

A: Yes, all our partner hotels have rooms with
attached bathrooms (private bathrooms). We don’t use dormitory-style or shared bathroom accommodations.

Q13: What if weather causes flight cancellations from Islamabad?

A: We travel by road, not
flights! This tour uses land transportation throughout, so flight cancellations don’t affect us. Road travel takes longer but is reliable and offers incredible scenic views.

Q14: Can I extend my stay in Hunza after the tour?

A: Yes! Inform us at booking. We can help arrange:

● You return to  Lahore/Islamabad on your own
